Just make cookie dough, roll, fill with chocolate and nuts, then bake and ready. Now lets see how to make this chocolate cigar cookies with simple ingredients, step by step images and instructions.

Ingredients :

Unsalted Butter - 80 gm
Powdered Demerara Sugar - 1\2 cup
Maida - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 3\4 tsp
Salt - 1\8 tsp
Beaten Egg - 1 no
Vanilla Essence - 1\2 tsp
Grated Dark, Milk or White Chocolate - 1\2 cup
Almonds - 1\4 cup (roughly chopped)

Steps To Make The Chocolate Cigar Cookies:

Preparation, beat an egg with a spoon and keep aside.
To make the cookies dough, Take a mixing bowl, add the butter and demerara sugar, mix well till creamy. Then add the maida flour, baking powder and salt, mix well altogether. Then add the required beaten egg and make soft dough.

To make the chocolate cigars, take some dough, roll into rectangle shape for about two inch width with some flour. Trim or cut the sides with knife. Place some grated chocolate and almond in the center. Then gently close the sides to form cigar shape. Cut into 3 to 4 inch long. Place on greased baking tray. Bake for 20 mins (+ or -) at 160 degree Celsius pre-heated oven.

My Notes: After baked, cookies looks soft, once cooled it turns crunchy.
Serving Suggestion: Dip the chocolate cigar cookies in the melted chocolate and serve.
