Crispy Fried Mutton | Restaurant Style Crispy Fried Mutton Recipe - I had this crispy fried mutton dist first time at buhari restaurant. Specialty of this dish is evenly cuts in to strips, little hot, sweet, crispy and saucy. My niece enjoyed very much. I asked about this dish to waiter, he told the method roughly, with his clues I tried to make similarly. And I got perfectly. To slice the mutton pieces I tried with vegetable cutter, knife and scissors too, but I can't do with that all. Then my mom helped me and easily sliced thinly with aruvamanai. I thank to my mom and I am happy to share this dish to all. Now lets see how to make this crispy fried mutton recipe with easy step by step images and instructions.

Ingredients :

Boneless And Tender Mutton - 200 gm (2 to 3 inch long pieces)
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Maida - 1 tbsp
Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Onion - 1\2 no (finely chopped)
Blanched Red Chili Paste - 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp + extra to deep fry
Salt To Taste.
Method :

Steps To Make The Crispy Fried Mutton:

First wash and slice the mutton pieces thinly. In a mixing bowl, add the mutton, corn flour, maida, rice flour, one teaspoon of pepper powder and required salt. Mix all together and deep fry in the hot oil. Then cool the fried mutton and cut into strips with the help of scissors. Then again deep fry in the oil till crispy and keep aside.
To make the sauce, heat two tablespoon of oil in a kadhai, add the ginger and garlic, stir till its raw smell leaves. Add the onion and saute till slightly golden colour. Add the blanched red chili paste and stir for few seconds. Add the tomato ketchup, pepper powder and some salt, mix well and cook for an minute. If the sauce turns too thick means, add some water and cook till sauce consistency. Then add the crispy fried mutton, mix well and serve hot.
My Notes: Mutton cutting step is only complicated, otherwise it is very easy to make.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with parotta, chapathi or biryani.
