Their are many combination of kadhai gravies, like paneer and peas, mushroom and paneer, veg kofta  and many more. I like paneer and capsicum combination very much. It is creamy and spicy, made with the easy available ingredients. Also use Bangalore tomato for gravy colour. It goes well with the garlic naan, chapathi and poori. Now lets see how to make this kadhai panner gravy recipe with easy step by step images and instructions.

Ingredients :

Cinnamon Stick - 2"long
Cloves - 3 no
Coriander Seeds - 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chili - 5 no
Bangalore Tomato - 1 no (chopped)
Paneer Cubes - 200 gm
Large Onion - 1 no (1" sq)
Tri Colour Capsicum - each 1\4 no (1"sq)
Crushed Ginger Garlic - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - as required
Fresh Cream - 1\4 cup
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Method :

Steps To Make The Kadhai Paneer Gravy Recipe:

Preparations, First to make the kadhai masala, dry roast the cinnamon stick, cloves, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, pepper and dry red chili. Cool and grind into powder, keep aside. Then grind the tomato into paste and keep aside. Shallow fry the paneer with the oil and keep aside. Then saute the onion and tri colour capsicum till soft and keep aside.
To make the kadhai paneer, heat the butter in a kadhai and stir in the ginger garlic till its raw smell leaves. Add the tomato paste and cook for about two minutes. Then add the prepared kadhai masala, turmeric powder, salt and sugar. Stir for few seconds. Add one and half cup of water, bring to boil.
Cook for about five minutes over simmer or cook till the masala smell leaves. After that add the paneer, sauteed onion and capsicum, mix and cook for an minute. Then add the fresh cream and again cook for an minute. Finally add the coriander leaves, mix gently and serve hot.
My Notes: Make the kadhai masala in small batch for best flavour and taste.
Serving Suggestion: Serve the kadhai paneer gravy with the garlic naan.
