Potatoes - 2 no (large) |
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp |
Chat Masala - 1\2 to 3\4 tsp |
Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp |
Salt - as required |
Oil - for deep fry. |

Notes: No need to peel off the potatoes skin. To fry, squeeze out the excess water and carefully deep fry the potatoes in the oil. Add the masala as per your taste. Store the potatoes chips in a air tight box for two to three days. |

Preparation, first wash and grate the potatoes with large holes. Then immerse the grated potatoes in the ordinary water to avoid its discoloration. |
Heat enough oil in a kadhai, take some grated potatoes and try to squeeze out the excess water well. Then carefully deep fry in the oil. Cook over medium and high flame till it turns golden color and crunchy. Using tissue paper, remove the excess oil from the potatoes. |
Separately mix the red chili powder, chat masala, pepper powder, turmeric powder and required salt. Add the masala's mix into the fried potatoes, mix well and the potato chips is ready. |
