Vanjaram Meen Varuval | Crunchy Seer Fish Chunks | Moru Moru Vanjaram Meen Varuval - It is crunchy, soft and less spicy . I'm used very few ingredients only. It's very easy to make like instant snack, because we don't need to marinate, just mix the mentioned ingredients one by one and deep fry them in the oil, that's all. You can serve this fish chunks as a starter or can also wrap with chapathi like rolls 👍. Now lets see how to make this crunchy fish chunks with easy step by step images, instructions and video.

Ingredients :

Boneless Vanjaram | Seer Fish - 250 gm (1\2 inch pieces)
Lemon Juice - 1\2 no
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Salt - as required
Egg White - 1 no
Maida - 2 tbsp
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Pepper Powder - 2 tsp
Bread Crumbs - 1\2 cup
Oil - deep fry.
Method :
  • In a mixing bowl, add the fish chunks, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and required salt, mix well altogether.
  • Add the egg white and mix well.
  • Add the maida, cornflour, pepper powder and bread crumbs, mix well altogether.
  • Heat enough oil in a kadhai to deep fry, drop the fish chunks one by one in the oil, cook over medium flame till golden colour and ready.
Notes: If the mixture is too thick means add some more egg white, don't add water. Cook over medium flame and stir in between.

After that add that add the madia, cornflour, pepper powder and bread crumbs, mix well altogether. If the mixture is too thick means, add some extra egg white and mix well.

Heat enough oil in a kadhai, drop the fish chunks one by one and cook over medium flame. Deep fry them till golden color and serve hot.

Serving Suggestion: Serve as a snack with mayo dip or wrap with chapathi.
