Ingredients :

Mushroom - 200 gm (quarter)
Maida - 1\4 cup
Cornflour - 1\4 cup
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
White Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - for deep fry
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Dry Red Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Blanched Red Chili Paste - 1 tbsp
Honey - 1 tbsp
Soy Sauce - 2 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Red Chili Sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
Cornflour - 1 tsp
Method :
In a mixing bowl, add the cornflour, maida and pepper powder, mix well with required water to make little thick batter. Add in the mushroom and mix well. Deep fry in the oil and keep aside.
Dry roast the sesame seeds and keep aside.
To make the honey chili sauce, heat the oil in a kadhai, add the onion, garlic, dry red chili and green chili, saute till them raw smell leaves completely. Add the blanched red chili paste, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, red chili sauce, tomato sauce and required salt, mix well and cook till sauce consistency.
Add the fried mushroom and mix well. Dissolve the cornflour with some water and mix it into the mushroom-sauce, cook for an minute. Finally add the roasted sesame seeds, mix well and ready.
Notes: If you like saucy mushroom means, add some more cornflour-water.

In a mixing bowl, mix the corn flour, maida and pepper powder with required water, make little thick batter. Add in the mushroom pieces, mix well and deep fry in the oil. Keep aside.

To make the honey chili sauce, heat the oil in a kadhai or frying pan, add the onion, garlic, dry red chili and green chili, saute till the raw smell leaves completely.

Then add the blanched red chili paste, soy sauce, vinegar, red chili sauce, tomato sauce and required salt, mix well and cook till sauce consistency by stirring frequently.
Add the fried mushroom into sauce and mix well altogether.

For the glossy texture, separately mix the a teaspoon of cornflour with some water and add into the mushroom mixture and cook for an minute. If you like sauce consistency means, add some made cornflour water. Finally add the roasted sesame seeds, mix well and the honey chili mushroom is ready.
