Chicken Leg Piece - 2 no |
Tamarind Paste - 2 tbsp |
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp |
Coriander Leaves - 1\4 cup |
Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp |
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp |
Pepper - 2 tsp |
Green Chili - 2 no |
Cinnamon Stick - 2" long |
Cloves - 2 no |
Salt To Taste |
Butter - 2 tbsp |
Method : |
To make the masala, grind the coriander leaves, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, pepper, green chili, cinnamon stick and cloves with required water into fine paste. |
First marinate the chicken leg pieces with the turmeric powder, tamarind paste and required salt for 10mins. Secondly marinate the chicken with ground masala paste for about thirty minutes. |
Heat the butter in a kadhai and roast the marinated chicken at medium-high flame till the outer side turns golden colour. |
To bake, place the chicken legs on baking tray and bake for twenty to twenty five minutes at 220 degree Celsius in preheated oven. |
Notes: While roast the chicken, no need to cook fully, just roast the outer side and then bake them. |
