Cashew Nuts - 100 gm |
Sugar - 75 gm |
Milk Powder - 1 tsp |
Ghee - 1 tsp |
Rose Essence - few drops |
Broken Cashews - as required |
Method : |
Grind the cashews into powder and keep aside. |
Heat the sugar and quarter cup of water in a heavy bottom kadhai and bring to boil. Turn the flame into lower flame. |
Add the ground cashews and mix without lumps. |
Add the milk powder, ghee and rose essence, mix well and cook over simmer until very soft ball consistency. Remove from the flame. |
Cool little and make small balls (ladoo) and roll on broken cashews. Cashew ladoo are ready. |
Notes: Use heavy bottom kadhai. |

To make the ladoo, heat the sugar and 1\4 cup of water in a heavy bottom kadhai (use heavy bottom kadhai) and bring to boil. Turn the flame into lower flame. |
Add the ground cashews and mix well without lumps. |
Then add the milk powder, ghee and rose essence, mix well and cook over simmer only until very soft ball consistency. Immediately remove from the flame else the cashew mixture turns into hard. |
Cool little and make small balls (ladoo). Then roll on the broken cashews, once cooled it will turns little hard and get ladoo texture. Now the cashew ladoo's are ready. |
