Chili Paneer | Hot and Spicy Homemade Chili Paneer Recipe in a Indo-Chinese Style, made with easy available ingredients. Chili Paneer | Hot and Spicy Homemade Chili Paneer Recipe

Ingredients :

Paneer - 200gm (small cubes)
Maida - 2 tbsp
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp + 2 tsp
Large Onion - 1 no (1" cubes)
Capsicum - 1 no (1" cubes)
Ginger - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Green Chili Sauce - 1 tsp
Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
Red Chili Sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp
White Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - as required
Spring Onion - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Method :
In a mixing bowl, add maida and cornflour, make little thin batter with required water. Add the paneer cubes and mix well. Deep fry in the oil and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the onion and capsicum, saute until soft and keep aside.
To make the chili paneer, heat the remaining oil in a kadhai, add the ginger and garlic, saute until its raw smell leaves. Add the green chili sauce, soy sauce, red chili sauce, tomato sauce, white pepper powder, sugar and some salt, mix well. Cook until sauce consistency.
Add the sauteed onion, capsicum and fried paneer, mix all together.
Add the spring onion, mix well and ready.
Notes: cook the sauce over simmer to avoid burning and adjust the sauce ingredients as per your taste.

Cook over lower flame until sauce consistency. Then add the sauteed onion, capsicum and fried paneer, mix all together.

Finally add the spring onion, mix well and the chili paneer is ready.

Serving Suggestion: Chili paneer goes well with the veg fried rice.
