Chicken Vadai | Simple Chicken Vadai | Kozhi Kari Vadai

Ingredients :

Boneless Chicken Pieces - 250 gm (small pieces)
Green Chili - 1 no
Egg - 1 no
Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Mint Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp
Garam Masala -1\2 tsp
Salt - required
Fried Gram Flour - 1\4 cup (udaitha kadalai maavu)
Oil - shallow fry
Method :
Grind the chicken pieces, green chili and egg into fine paste or little coarsely, transfer them in a mixing bowl. Add the onion, green chili, coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, fennel seeds powder, garam masala and required salt, mix well altogether. Add the fried gram flour (+ or -) little by little and make soft dough.
Take some dough, flat into circle for abut 1\2 cm thickness, shallow fry in the oil. Cook over medium flame, cook on both sides until slightly golden brown colour. Serve hot.
Notes: Shallow fry or deep fry them.

To make the chicken vadai mixture, first grind the chicken pieces, green chili and egg into fine paste or little coarsely.

Transfer the ground chikcen mixture in a mixing bowl. Add in the onion, green chili, coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, fennel seeds powder, garam masala and required salt, mix well altogether.

Then add the fried gram flour little by little and make soft dough consistency. If the dough is too sticky means add required fried gram flour.

To make the vadai, take some dough, flat into circle for abut 1\2 cm thickness, shallow fry in the oil. Cook over medium flame, cook on both sides until slightly golden brown colour. Serve hot.

Serving Suggestion: Serve the chicken vadai with coconut chutney.
