Mozzarella Cheese - 200 gm |
Maida - 1\2 cup |
Dry Mango Powder - 1\2 tsp (optional) |
Egg - 1 no |
Bread - 4 no |
Oil - deep fry |
Method : |
Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks for about 1\3inch thick and 2inch long. |
Beat the egg in a bowl. |
Trim the bread slices and grind into crumbs, transfer on a plate. |
Mix the maida and dry mango powder, mix and transfer on a separate plate. |
Dust the cheese sticks with the maida, dip into the beaten egg and then roll into the breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for one hour minimum until the coating is firm. |
Heat enough oil in a kadhai to deep fry, fry the cheese sticks a few at a time over medium flame. Cook until slightly golden colour. Serve immediately. |
Notes: If the oil is not hot means cheese sticks will melts in the oil. So keep the oil hot. Also don't freeze the breaded cheese sticks. |
