Ingredients : |
Goat Brain | Attu Moolai - 2 nos |
Ginger - 1 " long |
Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves |
Green Chilli - 2 nos |
Pepper - 1 tsp |
Lemon Juice - 1\2 no |
Salt - as required |
Maida - 1\2 cup |
Beaten Egg - 1 no |
Bread Crumbs - 3 nos |
Oil - shallow fry |
Method : |
Grind the ginger, garlic, green chilies, pepper, lemon juice and required salt into coarsely paste. |
Cut the each goat brain into 5 pieces, mix with ground masala and marinate for five minutes. |
Dust the brain pieces with the maida, dip in the beaten egg and then in to the bread crumbs. |
Shallow fry the breaded brains over lower flame until the outer layer turns golden brown colour. |
Serve hot. |
Notes: Shallow fry the brain over low flame to cook inside. |

To make the masala, grind the ginger, garlic, green chilies, pepper, lemon juice and required salt into coarsely paste. |
Cut the each brain into 5 pieces (+ or -), mix with ground masala and marinate for about five minutes. |
First dust the brain pieces with the maida, then dip in the beaten egg. |
finally in to the bread crumbs and press gently to cover all the sides. |
Shallow fry the breaded brains over lower flame until the outer layer turns golden brown colour. Serve hot. |
