Homemade Paneer from 1 liter of cow's milk (or 200gm) - cubes |
Milk Powder - 2 tbsp |
Sugar - 1\2 cup |
Milk - required |
Butter - 1 tbsp |
Ground Strawberries - 1 cup |
Salt - generous pinch |
Method : |
Grind the paneer and milk powder into fine paste with required milk. |
To make the paneer peda mixture, in a heavy kadhai, melt the butter and add the ground strawberries. Stir for about two minutes. Add the ground paneer mixture, sugar and salt, mix well. Cook over medium-simmer flame by stirring continuously. When the paneer mixture turns thick and forms soft ball consistency means, turn off the flame. Take out the paneer mixture from the kadhai and cool little on plate (manageable heat). |
Make required shape and ready. |
Notes: Use less and required milk to grind the paneer and milk powder into fine paste, else it take more time to cook. Use heavy kadhai, to cook evenly and to avoid easy burning. Can store at room temperature for two days only. |
