Made with the main ingredients of milk, condensed Milk, brown sugar, fresh cream and pineapple juice. Recipe :

Annasi Pazham Kulfi | Creamy Pineapple Kulfi Recipe


Prep Time: 8 hours to overnight
Cook time: under 15 minutes

Ingredients :

Milk - 2 cups
Condensed Milk - 1\2 cup
Brown Sugar - 1\2 cup
Fresh Cream - 1\2 cup
Cornflour - 1 and 1\2 tsp
Fresh Pineapple Juice - 3\4 cup
Method :
To make the kulfi mixture, heat the milk, condensed milk, brown sugar and fresh cream in a pan. Mix well and bring to boil. Turn the flame into lower and cook for about two to three minutes by stirring frequently.
Separately mix the cornflour with some water. Pour them into the boiling kulfi mixture, mix well and cook for about three to four minutes or till they turns little thick. Keep stirring frequently.
Turn off the flame and cool them completely. Then add the pineapple juice, mix well and the kulfi mixture is ready.
Fill the kulfi mixture into the kulfi moulds. Freeze overnight or at least 6 hours to set.
To de-mould, first insert the bamboo stick in the center of frozen kulfi, then run the knife around the sides and pull out the stick. Kulfi is ready.
Notes: Cornflour helps to thicken the kulfi mixture. Keep stirring frequently to avoid burning.
