Sathu Maavu Karuppatti Kozhukattai | Health Mix Powder Kozhukattai With Palm Sugar - Very simple 3 ingredients steamed kozhukattai. Made with the homemade sathu maavu | health mix powder, coconut and palm jaggery. Already I have posted sathu maavu recipe with 26 ingredients, used this flour only to make kozhukattai's. Sathu maavu already contains cereals, pulses, millets and flavoring ingredients like cardamom and sukku. So we don't need any extra ingredients to make this kozhukattai except karuppatti and coconut. We can also add some nuts for crunchy bites in between. Now lets see how to make this simple sathu maavu karuppatti kozhukattai with easy step by step instructions, images and video. |

Ingredients : |
Karuppatti | Palm Sugar- 1\2 cup |
Sathu Maavu | Health Mix - 1 cup (heaped) |
Grated Coconut - 1\4 cup |
Method : |
To make the karuppatti syrup, heat the quarter cup of water and karuppatti, mix and cook until its dissolve completely. Keep aside. |
To make kozhukattai dough, In a mixing bowl, add the sathu maavu and grated coconut, mix well without lumps, then filter the karuppatti syrup into the flour mixture and mix into soft dough consistency. |
Make kozhukattai and arrange on idli mould plate, lined with wet cloth or greased with ghee. |
To steam, heat two cups (+ or -) of water in a idli pan and arrange the idli plates. Cover and cook for about ten minutes over medium flame. |
Serve Hot. |
Notes: If the kozhukattai dough turns sticky means add required flour. |
