Muttai Gravy With Simple Masala | Egg Gravy With Simple Masala

Ingredients :

Oil - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Large Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Cinnamon Stick - 2" long
Cloves - 3 nos
Ginger Garlic - 1 tbsp (crushed)
Tomato - 1 no (chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1\2 tsp
Curd - 1\2 cup (beaten)
Salt - as requried
Tamarind Water - 2 tbsp
Jaggery - 1 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Hard Boiled Eggs - 4 nos (quartered)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Method :
Heat the oil and butter in a hot kadhai, add the onion, green chili, cinnamon stick and cloves. Saute until the onion turns slightly golden colour. Add the ginger garlic, saute until its raw smell leaves. Then add the tomato and saute until it turns soft.
Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds powder, pepper powder and garam masala, mix well for few seconds.
Add the curd and mix well.
Add the required salt, tamarind water, 3\4 cup of water and jaggery, mix well. Cook for about three minutes over low flame to remove raw smells.
Add the raw egg, mix little and cook the egg. Then add the boiled eggs, mix gently and cook for one minute.
Finally add the coriander leaves, mix well and ready.
