Ingredients : |
Cows Milk - 1 liter |
Lemon Juice - 1 no |
Pink Food Colour - few drops |
Water - 2 cups |
Sugar - 1 cup |
Paneer Roses -10 nos (washed) |
Method : |
To make the paneer, first boil the cow's milk, add the lemon juice, mix well for few seconds until the milk curdle fully also whey water will separate completely. And then remove from the flame. |
Strain all the whey using a clean damp muslin cloth or thin cotton cloth. Then rinse with cold water and squeeze out all the excess water. |
Using palm, knead the paneer for about fifteen minutes till very soft and free of lumps. Then mix the food colour. |
Make one inch oval or ball shape out of the paneer dough and keep aside. |
To make the sugar syrup, heat the sugar and water in a pan, bring to boil (string consistency doesn't required). Add the paneer rose petals and cook for about one minute over low flame. Then strain out the rose petals. |
Boil the syrup and then add the prepared paneer into the syrup , cover and cook for about 7 to 10 mins over low flame till double the size. |
Chill and serve. |
Notes: Use cows milk for soft and fluffy rasagullas. |
