Oil - 1 tbsp |
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp |
Pepper - 1 tsp |
Dry Red Chilies - 3 no |
Ginger - 1" pieces Garlic Cloves - 7 nos |
Oil - 2 tsp |
Curry Leaves - 2 stks |
Nethili Meen - 250 gms |
Turmeric Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Salt - as required |
Lemon Juice - 1\2 no |
Method : |
To make the masala, heat the oil in a kadhai, add the cumin seeds, pepper, dry red chillies, ginger and garlic, saute until it raw smell leaves. |
Cool them and grind into fine paste. |
To make the dish, heat the oil in a kadhai, add the ground masala, curry leaves, nethili meen, turmeric powder and salt. |
Cook on its own moisture over low flame by stirring gently. At last add the lemon juice, mix and serve hot. |
Notes: Don't add water to cook the fish, its own moisture is enough. |
