Prawns - 250 gms |
Garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped) |
Lemon Zest - 1 tsp (grated) |
Red Chili Flakes - 1 tsp |
Salt - as required |
Oil - shallow fry |
Butter - 1 tbsp |
Sweetened Dark Chocolate - 2 to 3 tbsps (finely chopped or grated) |
Method : |
In a mixing bowl, add the cleaned prawns, garlic, lemon zest, red chilli flakes and required salt. Mix altogether and marinate for about thirty minutes. |
Heat some oil in a pan/kadhia and shallow fry the marinated prawns and keep aside. |
To make the chocolate prawns, heat the butter in a pan/kadhai, add the dark chocolates and mix to melt over simmer. Add the fried prawn, mix and serve hot. |
Notes: Use finely chopped or grated sweetened dark chocolate to melt quickly and also to avoid burning. |
