Steamed Eggless Gulab Jamun Cake | Eggless Homemade Cake

Ingredients :

Maida - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 1\2 tsp
Cooking Soda - 1\4 tsp
Unsalted Butter - 80 gms
Condensed Milk - 1\2 cup
Cardamom Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1\2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Milk - 1\2 cup
Gulab Jamuns - 8 to 10 nos
Cashews & Almonds - 2 tbsps (finely chopped)

Method :
Preparations, grease and dust a six inch cake tin with some butter and maida, keep aside. Sieve the maida, baking powder and cooking soda, keep aside.
To make the cake batter, in a mixing bowl, add the unsalted butter, condensed milk, cardamom seeds powder, vanilla essence and lemon juice, mix well by using whisk or beater.
Add the milk and mix well.
Add the sieved flour mixture and mix well.
Take a prepared cake tin, add in half of the cake batter, arrange the gulab jamuns and then add the remaining cake batter to stuff the jamuns.
Sprinkle the nuts on the tops. Gently tap the cake tin on the flat surface to spread the cake batter evenly on all sides.
Steam for about twenty five to thirty minutes.
Cool the cake in the tin for about ten minutes.
To demold, run the knife around the sides, flip on plate and cool the cake completely.
Serve warm.
Notes: Use all the ingredients at room temperature.
