Ghee - 1 tbsp |
Cashews - 1\4 cup |
Cinnamon Stick - 1" |
Cloves - 3 nos |
Ginger - 1" |
Garlic - 5 cloves |
Boneless Chicken - 250 gms |
Red Chilli Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp |
Salt - as required |
Egg - 1 no |
Besan Flour - 1 tbsp (+ or -) |
Maida - 1\4 cup |
Beaten Egg - 1 no |
Bread Crumbs - 1\2 cup |
Oil - for shallow fry |
Method : |
Heat the ghee in a kadaai, roast the cashews until golden colour, keep aside. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, ginger and garlic, saute for a minute or more to remove its raw smell. |
Add the boneless chicken pieces, saute for about two minutes. Then add the red chili powder, turmeric powder and required salt. Cook over low flame until the chickens cook. |
Let it cool and grind into coarsely without water. |
To make the chicken cutlet, mix the ground chicken and one egg in a bowl. Then mix the besan flour. After that mix the roasted cashews. |
Take some chicken mixture, make cutlet shapes, first coat the maida all over the sides, secondly dip in the beaten egg and at last cover with the bread crumbs. Press gently all the sides to stick the bread crumbs well. Do the same for the remaining. |
Shallow fry the chicken cutlet on both side, cook over low flame until golden colour. |
Notes: If the chicken cutlet mixture is dry and not able to make cutlet shape means add some egg and besan flour, adjust them accordingly. |
