Recipe :

Pomegranate JAM | Mathulam JAM | Homemade 3 ingredients JAM


Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4 to 5 persons

Ingredients :

Pomegranates - 2 nos arils
Suagar - 1\2 cup
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Method :
Grind the pomegranates until all the arils have been crushed. Also grind without breaking the seeds.
Heat the heavy kadhai or pan, add the ground pomegranate mixture and quarter cup of water, mix and bring to boil.
Then add the sugar, mix well and cook over medium flame by stirring frequently.
Skim off the foam, that floats on the surface.
Cook continuously, when the jam mixture reach little thicker, add the lemon juice and mix well.
To check the jam consistency, take some jam on a plate, allow it to cool to room temperature. If it is stays and not runny means its done.
Turn off the flame and let it cool down completely.
That's all.
Notes: Can refrigerate upto one week.
