Step By Step Images: |
Firstly to make the red chilli paste, boil 2 cups of water |
add the dry red chilies, boil it for about 10 mins in simmer |
turned soft. Let it cool down completely |
Blend the chillies with required vinegar |
make fine paste. (We need 2 tbsps, refrigerate the remaining up to 1 month) |
In a mixing bowl, mix the maida, cornflour, black pepper powder, salt, egg and required water |
mix into bajji batter consistency |
marinate the chicken wings for about 30 mins |
Shallow fry them until golden colour |
Dry roast the sesame till crisp. Keep aside. |
In a kadaai \ pan, heat some oil, saute the ginger and garlic |
add the soy sauce, honey, red chili paste and 2 pinch of salt |
mix all |
mix some wings marinated batter and water |
add into the sauce mixture |
cook till thick and saucy consistency |
Add the fried wings |
mix |
At last add the toasted sesame seeds. That"s all. |

Ingredients : |
Dry Red Chilies - 20 nos |
Vinegar - required |
White Sesame Seeds - 1\2 tsp |
Maida - 1\4 cup |
Corn Flour - 1\4 cup |
Black Pepper Powder - 1\2 tsp |
Egg - 1 no |
Salt - required |
Chicken Wings - 500 gms |
Oil for shallow fry |
Ginger - 1 tbsp |
Garlic - 1 tbsp |
Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp |
Honey - 2 tbsps |
Salt - 2 pinches |
Method : |
Firstly to make the red chilies paste, boil 2 cups of water, add the dry red chillies, cook for about 10 mins in simmer. Let it cool down completely |
Blend the chilies into fine paste with required vinegar. keep aside. |
Dry roast the sesame until crisp and keep aside. |
In a mixing bowl, mix the maida, cornflour, black pepper powder, salt, egg and required water. Mix into bajji batter consistency. |
Add the chicken wings and marinate for about thirty minutes. |
Shallow fry them until golden color. |
To make the sauce, In a kadaai \ pan, heat two teaspoons of wings fried oil, add the ginger and garlic, saute until it raw smell leaves. |
Add the soy sauce, honey, red chili paste and salt, mix well. |
Separately mix the two tablespoons of chicken wings marinated batter with half cup of water. Add it into the sauce mixture. |
Cook over simmer until it reaches saucy consistency. |
Add the fried wings, mix with sauce. |
Finally sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds. That's all. Serve hot. |
Notes: Instead of homemade red chili paste, we can also use store red chili paste. Adjust the sauce measurements as per your taste. |
