Steamed Simple Caramel Custard Pudding with Red Banana
Ingredients :
Milk - 2 cups
Egg - 2 nos
Lemon juice - 1/2 no
Ripe Red Banana
(or) Apple
- 1 no (sliced)
Banana Essence (or) Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp (+ or -)
Sugar - 5 tsp
Sugar for Caramel - 2 tbsp
Method :
First Brush Lemon Juice on sliced Banana, then arrange it in a mould.
Then to Caramelize Sugar, melt Sugar and 1tbsp of Water til becomes brown colour and charred, then pour over the Banana Slice and keep aside.
Now in a bowl, cream Egg and Sugar till light and creamy, then add Milk and Essence, mix well.
Pour the mixture slowly through a strainer into a Aluminium mould.
Cover tightly with Aluminium Foil or grease proof paper.
Steam in Pressure Cooker for 20mins without weight in medium flame.
Refrigerate it, Un-mould and serve.
