Paasi Payaru Sundal | Moong Bean Sundal | Whole Moong Dal Sundal | பாசிப்பயறு சுண்டல்
Ingredients :
Paasi Payaru | Moong Bean - 1 cup
Coconut Shreds - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
Dry Red Chili - 2 no
Curry Leaves - 1 stk
Oil - 2 tsp
Method :
Pressure cook paasi payaru with 1 cup of water and required salt for 1 whistle and 3min in simmer.
When all the steam has escaped open pressure cooker, drain all excess water and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai, temper mustard seeds and urad dal, after splutter add dry red chili and curry leaves, saute for few seconds.
Add cooked paasi payaru and stir for 1/2 an minute or until dry.
Add coconut shreds, remove from flame and mix well, ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion : Serve with Laddu.
