Samai / Little Millet - 1 and 1/2 cup (washed, soaked 10 mins) Chicken - 350 gm Onion - 2 no (chopped) Tomato - 2 no (chopped) Green Chili - 4 no Ginger Garlic - 1 tsp Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp Lemon Juice - 1 no Curry Leaves - 1 stk Coconut Milk - 2 cup Mint Leaves - 3/4 cup Coriander Leaves - 3/4 cup (chopped) Water - 1 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Oil - 1 tbsp Salt To Taste. Spices : Cinnamon Stick - 3 no (2" long) Bay leaf - 2 no Star Anise - 1 no Cloves - 5 no Cardamom - 3 no Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp |

Loved the taste and flavour..a bit too squishy texture wise though..will reduce the Coconut milk next time and add more water

ReplyDeleteIf you got squishy texture means just reduce little water or coconut milk (around 1\4 cup) from the total liquid quantity. Adjusting might not be work out.. For millets, some time measurement will vary little. Hope it will useful to u : )
