Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Chicken -350 gm
Milk - 1 and 1/2 cup
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Pepper - 1 tsp (crushed)
Maida \ All Purpose Flour - 1/4 cup
Red Chili Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Dry Mango Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1 tsp
Mixed Herbs - 1 tbsp
Egg - 1 no
Oil for deep fry
Salt to Taste |
Steps To The Buttermilk Fried Chicken :
- First to marinate, blend the milk with vinegar, pepper and little salt by using hand mixer in a mixing bowl. (Image 1 and 2)
- Add in the chicken pieces and marinate for 2hrs. (Image 3)

- In a plate, combine the maida, red chili powder, dry mango powder, cumin seeds powder, mixed herbs and required salt, mix all and keep aside. (Image 5)
- In another plate \ bowl, beat the egg and keep aside. (Image 6)
- Now dip the marinated chicken pieces in the beaten egg and gently roll them on the maida mixture. (Image 6 and 7)
- Again dip the chicken pieces in egg and roll them on the maida. (Image 8 and 9)

- Then deep fry in hot oil till golden brown colour and ready to serve. (Image 10 and 11)

Serving Suggestion :
Serve hot with Biryani or Fried Rice. |
