Thinai Thean Urundai | தினையும் தேனும் கலந்த லட்டு | Foxtail Millet Honey Laddoo | Thinaiyum Theanum Kalantha Laddu | Thinai Maavvu Urundai - Traditional Diwali Snack
Ingredients :
Thinai \ Foxtail Millet - 1 and 1/2 cup
Honey - 4 tbsp (+ or -)
Cashew-nut - 10 no (roughly chopped)
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Method :
Steps To Make Thinai Laddoo
:
Dry roast the thinai / foxtail millet in a hot kadai / pan for about 5 to 7minute in simmer.
Allow to cool completely.
Grind into fine powder and keep aside.
Roast cashew nuts in hot ghee til light golden brown colour.
Add in ground thinai \ foxtail millet flour, saute for an minute in simmer and remove from the flame.
Allow to cool little, add cardamom powder and mix well.
Make ladoo \ small balls with required honey and ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion : Serve with
Crispy Butter Murukku
