Eggless Chocolate and Walnut Cake

Maida \ All Purpose Flour - 3/4 cup
Cocoa Powder - 1/3 cup + dusting
Walnut - 1/4 to 1/2 cup (chopped)
Homemade Condensed Milk - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Butter - 70 gm + greasing (room temperature)
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 2 pinch |
Preparation :
- Grease and dust (cocoa powder) an 7" baking tin, keep aside. (Image 1)
- Sieve the maida along with cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt for 2 to 3 times and keep aside. (Image 2)
Steps To Make The Eggless Chocolate Cake :
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree Celsius at convectional mode.
- Beat the butter and curd with an electric beater until creamy. (Image 3 and 4)
- Add in the homemade sweetened condensed milk and milk and beat till all combined. (Image 4 and 5)

- Fold in the sieved flour-cocoa mixture. (Image 6)
- Add the walnut and fold them gently. (Image 7)
- Pour the batter into greased and dusted tin. (Image 8)

- Bake for 25minutes (+ or -). (Image 9)
- Test the cake by inserting a tooth pick in the center, it should comes out clean.
- Allow to cool the cake in tin for 5 minutes, then invert the cake and cool on a wire rack and decorate with your favourite icing or whipped cream.

Serving Suggestion :
Serve warm or chill with an ice cream. |
