Morris Banana \ Vazhai Pazham Chapathi | Simple Special Breakfast

Large Morris Banana - 2 nos
Maida \ All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - 1 no (finely chopped)
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp + extra
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Banana Chapathi :
- Peel off the banana skin, slice into small pieces and grind with sugar till watery, keep aside. (Image 1 and 2)

- To make chapathi dough, combine the maida and rice flour with green chilli, cumin seeds and salt in a mixing bowl. (Image 3)
- Add in the ground banana puree and knead into soft dough. (Image 4)
- Then add a tablespoon of ghee and mix well and rest the dough for about 30minutes. (Image 5 and 6)

- After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 5 or 6 equal parts. (Image 7)
- Take one part, dust and roll out the dough into thin circle with required rice flour. (Image 8)
- Then cook on hot iron tawa \ non-stick tawa with required ghee until golden brown colour on both sides over simmer. (Image 9 and 10)
- Do the same for the remaining dough.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with powdered jaggery or brown sugar.
