Carrot Juice - 1/4 cup (fresh and thick)
Coconut Milk - 1/4 cup (fresh and thick)
Palak Puree - 1/4 cup (blanched and paste)
Wheat Flour or All Purpose Flour - 1 and 1/2 cup (+ or -)
Ghee and Oil - required
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Tri Color Chapati (Orange, White and Green) :
- To make orange color dough, combine a cup of flour with ghee and required salt in a mixing bowl. (Image 1)
- Mix with the required carrot juice and knead into soft dough. (Image 2 and 3)
- Similarly to make white color dough, substitute the coconut milk for carrot juice. (Image 4 and 5)
- Similarly to make the green color dough, use palak puree. (Image 6 and 7)
- Then keep all the three color dough separately for half an hour.

- To make tri color chapathi, roll the each color separately into cylindrical shape by using hands, then gently roll the three color horizontally. (Image 8)
- Then divide the dough equally into 8 parts (+ or -). (Image 9)
- Take one part of dough, slightly dust with some flour and roll into thin circle. (Image 10 and 11)
- Cook on hot tawa with required oil till the brown spots appear. (Image 12)
- Do the same for the remaining dough and ready to serve.
