Sankara Fishes - 5 to 6 nos |
Egg - 1 no |
Cornflour - 2 tbsps |
Maida - 2 tbsps |
Salt - as required |
Oil - 1 tbsp |
Ginger - 1 tbsp (finely chopped) |
Garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped) |
Green Chilli - 1 or 2 nos (finely chopped) |
Red Chilli Paste - 1 tbsp |
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp |
Sugar - 1 tsp |
Soy Sauce - 1 tsp |
Pepper - 1 tsp |
Vinegar - 1 tsp (+ or -) |
Cornflour 1 tsp |
Method : |
Mix the egg, cornflour, maida and required salt in a plate. Coat the egg mixture on the fishes and shallow fry them and keep aside. |
To make the chilli sauce, heat the oil in a kadhai \ tawa, saute the ginger, garlic and green chilli until it raw smell leaves. Add in the red chili paste, tomato sauce, sugar, soy sauce, pepper and vinegar. Mix well. Separately mix the cornflour with the half cup of water, add in to the sauce and simmer until saucy consistency. |
Add the fried fishes into the chilli sauce, cook until dry and serve hot. |
Notes: Adjust the sauce ingredients as per ur taste. |
