Ingredients : |
Ghee - 2 tbsp |
Cashews - 1\4 cup (roughly chopped) |
Almonds - 1\4 cup (roughly chopped) |
Sathu Maavu - 2 cups |
Nattu Sakkarai - 3\4 cup |
Cardamoms - 4 nos (optional) |
Hot Ghee - required |
Method : |
Heat the ghee in a heavy kadai, roast the cashews and almonds, keep aside. Then roast the sathu maavu until its nice aroma arise, keep aside and cool completely. |
Grind the roasted sathu maavu, nattu sakkarai and cardamoms (optional) into powder. |
In a mixing bowl, add the ground sathu maavu mixture and roasted nuts, mix well. Add in required hot melted ghee and make laddu (small balls). |
Notes: Use heavy kadai to roast the flour to avoid burning. |
