Creamy Mushroom with Capsicum

Ingredients :

Button Mushroom - 200 gm (washed and wiped with tissue)
Capsicum - 1 no (cut into small pieces)
Lemon Juice - 1/2 fruit
White Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cornflour - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1 no (small, chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Red Chili Powder - 3/4 tsp
Coconut Paste - 1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (garnish, chopped)
Oil for deep fry + 1 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Method :


Steps To Make Creamy Mushroom with Capsicum :
  • In a bowl, combine mushroom with lemon juice, white pepper and cornflour and deep fry in hot oil, keep aside.


  • Heat oil in a pan, add in onion and green chili, saute until the onion becomes slightly golden brown colour.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Add tomato, stir well and cook til they becomes soft.
  • Add coconut paste and mix well.


  • Add red chili powder, capsicum and required salt, saute until the capsicum cooks and its raw smell leaves.
  • Add fried mushroom and mix well.
  • Finally add fresh cream and stir well for few seconds, remove from the flame and ready to serve.

Creamy Mushroom with Capsicum


Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Sambar, Curd Rice or Dal Rice.
