Ingredients :

Thinai Arisi | Foxtail Millet - 1 cup
Thuvaram Paruppu | Toor Dal - 1\4 cup
Puli | Tamarind - 1" ball size
Dry Red Chili - 2 no
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - required
Salt to taste.

Steps To Make The Thinai Arisi Puli Kaara Dosai:

  • First wash and soak the thinai arisi, thuvaram paruppu, puli and dry red chili with enough water for about 2hours. (Image 1)
  • Then drain the water and grind the soaked ingredients with fennel seeds, required salt and required water into paste. (Image 2 and 3)
  • Batter consistency is like rava dosai batter consistency. (Image 4)

  • Make dosai on hot tawa and cook on both side with required oil, serve hot. (Image 5 and 6)
