2016 Independence Day Special Tri Color Falooda | Homemade Colorful falooda recipe with three layers and three different taste. For green layer, i used homemade green vermicelli, kiwi crush, kiwi fruit and pistachio. For white layer, homemade milk jelly, milk, condensed milk and cashews. For orange layer, orange ice cream and almonds. Really this dish take some time to make but worth for best taste. I like this falooda very much. Ingredients :

Falooda
Orange or Peach Ice Cream - 1 cup
Sabja Seeds | Falooda Seeds - 1 tsp
Kiwi Fruit - 2 no (chopped)
Kiwi Crush - 1\4 cup
Almonds - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Pistachio - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Cashews - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Condensed Milk - 3 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup

For Milk Jelly :

Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1\3 cup
Gelatin - 1 and 1\2 tbsp
Water - 1\4 cup

For Falooda Vermicelli :

Corn Flour - 1\2 cup
Water - 2 cup
Green Food Colour - 1\8 tsp
Method :

To make the milk jelly, soak the gelatin in the water for 10minutes then microwave for 10seconds or till its dissolved and keep aside. Heat the milk in a pan, bring to boil, add the sugar and cook till dissolve. Add the gelatin, mix well and remove from the flame. Transfer the milk mixture into the greased aluminium mold, cool completely and set in the refrigerator. Then de mold and cut into small pieces, keep aside.

To make the green colour vermicelli, mix the corn flour, green food colour and water in a bowl and mix well. Cook till thick over simmer by stirring continuously without lumps. Fill the idiyappam maker and press in the cold water. Then drain the water and keep aside the vermicelli. Soak the sabja seeds with 1\4 cup of water for 10 to 15mins and keep aside.

To make the tri-color falooda, take a tall glass, for green colour layer, pour two tablespoon of kiwi crush, add two tablespoon of green colour vermicelli, add some kiwi fruit pieces and some pistachio nuts.

For the white layer, add some milk jelly pieces, add quarter cup of milk, one tablespoon of condensed milk and some cashew nuts. Then add a tablespoon of soaked sabja seeds.
For the orange layer, add the orange or peach ice cream, add a tablespoon of orange or peach crush and almonds. Serve immediately.
