Creamy Cashew Chicken White Gravy Recipe| Kozhi Kari Vellai Kurma

To Marinate : (1 hour)
Chicken - 250 gm
Curd - 1/2 cup
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
To Grind into Paste :
Coconut - 3 tbsp (coconut shreds or chopped)
Cashew-nut - 20 pieces
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Green Chili - 4 nos
To Gravy :
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 2 pods (each 2-inch long)
Cardamom - 2 nos
Cloves - 4 nos
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste. |
- Marinate the chicken pieces with mentioned ingredients for an hour.

- Also grind the mentioned ingredients into fine paste with required water and keep aside.
Steps To Make The Chicken White Gravy :
- Heat oil in a kadhai \ frying pan, saute the onion until light golden brown color.
- Stir in the ginger garlic paste until its raw smell leaves.
- Then add marinated chicken pieces and saute til the chicken moisture reduced.
- Add in the ground paste and required salt, stir well and cook for an minute.
- Add water, mix well and cook for about 10 - 15mins or until done.
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves and ready to serve.
