Homemade Flour Tortillas | Super Easy Tortillas With Egg Omelette
Prep Time: 30 to 40 minutes

Flour | All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 3/4 tsp
Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp
Warm Water - required
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Homemade Flour Tortilla :
- To make the flour tortilla dough, mix the flour, baking powder and required salt in a mixing bowl. Then add in the required oil and mix till crumbled texture. (Image 1 and 2)
- Then add the required warm water and knead into soft dough. (Image 3 and 4)
- Cover and rest the dough for about thirty minutes.

- To make the tortilla, divide the prepared dough into 6 equal parts for small tortillas or required size. (Image 5)
- Using rolling pin, roll out the each dough into thin circle. (Image 6)
- Cook the rolled tortilla on hot tawa, till bubbly and brown spots appear. Don't over cook else turns hard. (Image 7 and 8)
- Do the same for the remaining dough and serve hot.
- To make the super easy egg omelet tortilla, follow the recipe as below...

- In a bowl, beat the egg with a teaspoon of roasted cumin seeds powder, pepper powder and required salt. (Image 9 and 10)
- Cook the tortilla as mentioned in earlier, then spread the egg mixture on both sides, then cook with required oil and serve. (Image 11 and 12)

Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with Coleslaw.
