Ingredients :

For Green Chutney:

Mint Leaves - 1 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1 cup
Lemon Juice - 1\2 no to 1 no
Green Chili - 2 no
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - required

For Dates Tamarind Chutney:

Dates - 1\2 cup (de-seeded)
Jaggery - 1\4 cup
Tamarind - 2" ball size
Red Chili Powder - 1\2 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1\4 tsp
Salt or Black Salt - required
Method :

Steps To Make The Green Chutney:

Grind the mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, green chili, sugar and required salt. Then add 1\2 cup of water and grind into paste. Now the green chili is ready.

Steps To Make The Dates Tamarind Chutney | Khatta Meetha Chutney:

Soak the tamarind ball with a cup of water for 30minutes. After thirty minutes, by using hand, dissolve the tamarind ball in the water, then strain the water and discard the solid.
Similarly soak the jaggery with half a cup of water for 30 minutes. Then filter the jaggery water to remove the impurities.
To make the chutney, take a pan, add the tamarind water, jaggery water, dates, red chili powder, cumin seeds powder, some salt and a cup of water and mix well. Then heat and bring to boil. Cook over medium flame for about 10 to 12mins. Then cool this mixture completely and grind into fine paste. Now the khatta meetha chutney is ready.

My Notes: For khatta meetha chutney, don't use black dates, for that use normal de-seeded dates. If you like spicy means add one more chili to green chutney.
