Fried Wheat Biscuits | Moru Moru Gothumai Biscuits | Cruchy and Tasty Diamond Biscuits


Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

Serves: 3 to 4 persons
Ingredients :
Sugar - 1\4 cup
Cardamoms seed - 3 nos
Cooking Soda - generous pinch
Salt - generous pinch
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1\4 cup
Wheat Flour - 1 cup (+ or -)
Oil - for deep fry
Method :
Grind the sugar and cardamoms seed into powder.
In a mixing bowl, add the ground sugar, cooking soda, salt, ghee and milk, mix nicely.
Add the wheat flour and knead into dough.
Roll into circle with quarter inch thickness and cut into one inch square or diamond shapes.
Deep fry in the oil until golden brown color.
Notes: Fry over medium-low flame so that it cooks evenly and turns crunchy.
