Ingredients :

Egg White - 2 no (room temperature)
Castor Sugar - 50 gm
Cashewnuts - 50 gm (roughly chopped)
Vanilla Essence - few drops.

Method :

Steps To Make Mini Macaroons : (Images 1 to 10)
  • Separate the egg white into the clean bowl. (Image 1)
  • Beat the egg whites with an electric beater for few seconds, then add the caster sugar in small quantities at little intervals. (Image 2)
  • Beat until stiff peaks are formed. (Image 3)
  • Add vanilla essence and beat for few seconds. (Image 4)
  • Add cashewnuts and gently fold them. (Image 5 and 6)
(Tip : To test the peaks, just upturn the bowl, if they remain unchanged then they are ready)

  • Preheat the oven to 110 degree Celsius.
  • Fill the pipping bag. (Image 7)
  • Line the baking tray with parchment paper. (Image 8)
  • Pipe cone shape about 1 inch length and 1 and 1/2 inch height or any shape. (Image 9)
  • Bake for 50mins to 60mins, also make sure that the macroons does not become brown outside. (Image 10)
  • Take out the macaroons from the oven and allow to stand for an minute, remove from the paper and store in a air-tight container box.
