Chicken and Egg - Podimas

Ingredients :

Chicken and Egg - Podimas Ingredients

Chicken - 150 gm (finely chopped)
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp + garnish
Egg - 1 no
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste.

To Season : (roasted and coarsely ground)

Pepper - 1/4tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/4tsp

Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion, green chili and ginger garlic paste, saute until onion becomes light golden brown colour.
  • Add chicken and cook until its moisture has reduced, stir in between.
  • Stir in red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and required salt, saute for an minute or until raw smell leaves.
  • Pour water and cook for 5-10 min in simmer, until the chicken becomes soft and water reduced.
  • Add coriander leaves and mix well.

  • Add egg and stir well continuously til crumble.
  • Then season with pepper and cumin seeds, mix well and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Biryani.
