Tandoori Chicken | Murg Tandoori | South Indian Style Recipe



Ingredients :

Tandoori Chicken | Murg Tandoori | South Indian Style Recipe

Chicken - 500 gm (2 large pieces)
Oil to brush.

Masala :

Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/4 tsp
Black Salt - 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Red Food Colour - 1 pinch (optional)
Curd - 1 cup (hung)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Salt to Taste.

  • First make deep cut all over the chicken pieces and keep aside.

  • In a bowl, combine mentioned masala ingredients, mix well.
  • Marinate chicken with masala for 2 to 3 hrs in room temperature.

  • Place the chicken pieces on high rack and brush with oil.
  • Preheat the oven at 200 C at convection mode.
  • Then place the rack in Microwave Oven, cook for 30mins (+ or -) at 220 C at convection mode, also turn the pieces and brush oil over halfway through cooking.
  • Ready to serve with mint chutney.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Naan, Chapathi or Pulao.
