Ingredients :

Mysore Pak Ghee Recipe
Kadalai Maavu | Besan Flour - 3\4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 pinch

Method :

Steps To Make The Mysore Pak:

  • In a mixing bowl, mix the kadalai maavu, salt and hot oil without lumps. (Image 1 and 2)
  • Then sieve the flour mixture and keep aside. (Image 3)

  • Heat the ghee separately. (Image 4)
  • To make the sugar syrup, heat the sugar and 1\4 cup of water in a heavy bottom kadhai and cook till one-string consistency. (Image 5 and 6)

  • Once the sugar syrup reached the one-string consistency, add in the prepared kadalai maavu little by little and mix continuously without lumps over simmer. (Image 7)
  • Then add the hot ghee to the flour mixture and stir continuously. (Image 8)
  • Cook till the mixture becomes frothy and the also ghee separates from the mixture. (Image 9)

  • Then transfer the mixture on the greased aluminum tray, cool the mixture little and cut into desired shape. (Image 10 and 11)
  • Ready to serve.
