Ingredients :

Chicken Egg Drop Soup
Chicken Keema - 100 gm
Garlic - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Egg Whites - 2 no
Lemon Juice or Vinegar - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp (+ or -)
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :
Chicken Egg Drop Soup

Steps To Make The Chinese Chicken Egg Drop Soup:

  • To make the soup, heat the butter in a kadhai and add the garlic, saute until its raw smell leaves. (Image 1)
  • Add 3 and 1\2 cups of water, mix well and bring to boil. Add the chicken keema and required salt, cook for about 5minutes. (Image 2 and 3)
  • Then add the soy sauce and cook for an minute. (Image 4)

  • Separately mix the corn flour with some water. Then add the corn flour water into the boiling soup mixture, mix well and cook for about two minutes. (Image 5)  
  • Now spoon the egg white (one by one spoon) into boiling soup mixture and cook until the egg cooks fully. (Image 6 and 7)

  • Finally add the lemon juice and pepper powder, mix well and ready to serve. (Image 8 and 9)
