Mutton Masala Sukka | மட்டன் மசாலா சுக்கா | Pressure Cooker Method


Mutton Masala Sukka

Ingredients :

Mutton Masala Sukka Ingredients

Mutton - 250 gm
Shallots - 1/2 cup (chopped) (else Onion -1)
Coconut Paste - 2 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 3/4 tsp
Coriander Powder - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp

Dry Red Chili - 2 no
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp + Garnish (chopped)
Crystal Salt to taste.
 

Method :

  • Pressure cook mutton, onion, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and required salt with a cup of water for 1 whistle and 10-15 min in simmer.
  • When all the steam has escaped, open pressure cooker and keep aside.
  • Mean time, roast cumin seeds and dry red chili in hot oil.
  • Add pressure cooked mutton and coconut paste, mix well and cook for 5min or until the water has reduced.
  • Lastly add coriander leaves and mix well, ready to serve.
