Prawn Stuffed Paratha | Prawn Paratha | இறால் பராத்தா


Ingredients : (serves 5)

Prawn Stuffed Paratha | Prawn Paratha | இறால் பராத்தா

Prawn - 250 gm
Onion - 1 no (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic - 2 tsp (crushed)
Green Chili - 3 or 4 nos (chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Cashew-nut Powder - 1 tbsp
Raisins - 1 or 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Salt to Taste
Oil - 1 tbsp

Dough :

Maida  - 3 cups 
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to Taste
Required Water.

Method :

  • First make soft dough with mentioned ingredients and divide into 5 equal parts. Keep aside.

  • Then grind Prawn and Green Chili into paste, keep aside.

  • Now to make Prawn stuff, heat Oil in a kadai, add Onion and saute until light golden brown colour. Add Ginger and Garlic, saute til raw smell leaves.
  • Add ground Prawn paste, Turmeric powder and required Salt, saute for 5mins in medium flame.
  • Add Cumin Seeds powder and Garam Masala, again saute for an minute and turn off flame.
  • Add Cashew-nut powder and Raisins, mix well.
  • Finally add Coriander leaves and again mix well.
  • Cool completely and the Prawn stuff is ready. Divide into 5 parts.

Steps To Make Prawn Stuffed Paratha :
  • Take one part of dough, roll into small circle and place Prawn stuff. (shown in above image 1).
  • Then bring all the sides together and seal it (shown in above image 2).
  • Roll out again into circle as possible as thin using flour (shown in above image 3).
  • Then cook on hot tawa, using little oil until golden brown on both sides and ready to serve. (shown in image 4)

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Butter Chicken.
