Spring Onion And Capsicum Thogayal \ Chutney

Spring Onion - 1 and 1/2 cup (chopped)
Capsicum - 1 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 2 to 3 nos
Garlic - 2 cloves
Ginger - 1" (chopped)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Jaggery - small pieces
Lemon Juice - 1 no
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Spring Onion and Capsicum Thogayal \ Chutney :
- Heat oil in a kadai \ frying pan, temper the cumin seeds, then add the garlic, ginger and green chili and saute for few seconds. (Image 1)
- Add the capsicum and cook for about 5mins over simmer or till the capsicum becomes soft. (Image 2)
- Add the spring onion and saute for 2 mins or till the spring onion shrinks. (Image 3 and 4)
- Then cool the spring onion and capsicum mixture into room temperature.
- Grind into fine paste with jaggery and lemon juice and ready to serve. (Image 5 and 6)
