Vazhakkai \ Raw Banana - 1 no
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Rice Flour - required
Oil - required
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Vazhakkai Varuval \ Raw Banana Fry :

  • Boil the raw banana with required water till its cook 3/4th. (Image 1)

  • Cool and remove the skin, then cut in to 3/4" thickness, then mash little using flat bowl and keep aside. (Image 2)
  • Then rub the lemon juice and required salt on both sides. (Image 3)
  • To make masala, mix the red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and required salt in a bowl, then mix with the raw banana pieces. (Image 4)
  • Then coat the rice powder and cover all the sides one by one. (Image 5)
  • Shake the excess flour and shallow fry in the hot oil on both sides and ready to serve. (Image 6 and 7)
