Ingredients :

Vanjaram Cutlet
Vanjaram Meen \ Seer Fish - 1 cup
Boiled Potato - 2 no
Egg - 2 no
Shallots - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Garlic - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green Chili - 2 no (finely chopped)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Oil - required
Salt to Taste

Method :

Preparation :

  • Steam the vanjaram meen \ seer fish with turmeric powder (1/4 tsp) and required salt.
  • Then remove the bones and shred into tiny pieces.

Steps To Make The Vanjaram Meen Cutlet \ Seer Fish Patties :

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the prepared vanjaram meen \ seer fish and mashed potato. (Image 1)
  • Add in the onion, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin seeds powder, pepper powder and add required salt and mix well. (Image 2)
  • Add in the eggs and again mix well. (Image 3 and 4)
  • Divide the fish mixture into 8 parts (+ or -) and make cutlet \ patty shape. (Image 5)
  • Shallow fry the fish cutlet \ patty and ready to serve. (Image 5 and 6)
